We are seeking a highly skilled laborer to join our team in the Pittsburgh Parks and Recreation department. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of full-time experience performing laborer work, with at least six months experience performing skilled laborer work. They must also be able to obtain certifications such as Pool Operator Certification, Allegheny County Health Department Registered Public Bathing Place Manager, Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Pesticides Applicator License, and Playground Inspector and/or National Green Infrastructure Certification.

The laborer will be responsible for operating complex and/or off-the-road motorized equipment and hand powered and mechanized tools for the purposes of planting, maintaining, and/or removing trees and landscaping as required. They will also assist with the maintenance, setup, and tear-down of Trans Stage, Trans Bleachers and/or Showmobile as required.
