Job Title: Travel Nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care to join our team at a top-rated hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment with a 40-hour workweek, 8-hour shifts, and a competitive salary of $2,498.00/week. As a Travel Nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients recovering from anesthesia, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing various medical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Consult with healthcare professionals on special patient cases, including PICC line placement and education.
  • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, noting all changes in physician orders.
  • Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observing and intervening when necessary.
  • Interact with family and patient regarding care plan while in the hospital and at time of discharge.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a PACU or similar setting.
  • Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
  • Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS - American Heart Association.
