Licensed Foster Care Clinical Therapist

Job Summary:
Epworth Children's Home is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Foster Care Clinical Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our Foster Care department, you will provide individual counseling services to clients and significant others with at-risk behaviors and/or behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual counseling sessions with foster children and foster parents to address behavioral needs and develop coping strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential treatment files and records, adhering to agency policies and state and federal regulations.
- Develop, implement, and update individual treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other stakeholders.
- Monitor client progress and provide regular updates to the treatment team.
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed and make referrals to relevant resources.
- Collaborate with other clinicians to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as required.
- Perform peer review and Medicaid review of clinical records.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain certification/licensure requirements.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., counseling, social work, psychology) and licensure (LPC, LMFT, LISW-CP, or equivalent).
- At least one year of experience in counseling or a related field, preferably with Medicaid clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demands.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in client records.
