We are seeking a skilled Electrical Control Panel Specialist to join our team at SJE Inc. as a Control Panel Test Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, testing, and recording the proper functions of custom control panels that control the movement of water to cities, municipalities, and homes for our water and wastewater industry clients.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect custom panels to ensure they do not have any defects, function properly, and meet quality standards.
- Work with a team of engineers and technicians to provide recommendations for design modifications to improve quality or reduce costs.
- Utilize the bill of materials to ensure the correct components are used in the panel.
- Provide training or coaching to panel assemblers as needed.
- Understanding of electrical component function (PLCs, VFDs, relays, etc.).
- Comfortable working with up to 480V electricity.
- Previous experience making electrical connections for testing purposes.
- Experience with digital multimeters and simulator boards.
- Up to 120 hours of Paid Time Off in the first year.
