Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team at SSM Health Physical Therapy. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing recreational activities for patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement recreational activities for patients, taking into account their individual needs and goals.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
  • Provide education to patients on community resources and leisure activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation required.
  • Current national certification from NCTRC as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or eligible to take exam required.
