Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to pediatric patients in critical condition. The role involves:

  • Delivering comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements
  • Current state RN license.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a PICU setting.
  • Certification in BLS and PALS.
  • Experience in a 20-bed PICU or larger.
  • Ability to work independently and manage critical situations effectively.
  • Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems.
  • Experience in a teaching hospital is a plus.
Work Schedule

The position requires a commitment to a full-time schedule, typically involving:

  • Shift Length: 12 hours
  • Weekly Hours: 48 hours
  • Weekend Work: Required
