Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Monitor and report patient progress, identifying and addressing any changes or concerns.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current Maryland license as RN or licensure in a compact state that allows practice in Maryland.
  • CPR certification.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
  • Graduate of an approved RN program, BSN preferred.
