Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team at Amazon Freight Partner. As a CDL Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of packages to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport packages to customers in a timely and safe manner.
- Follow all applicable laws and regulations, including hours of service, weight limits, and safety protocols.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
- Meet or exceed productivity and safety standards, as well as maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
- Must successfully pass a DOT physical.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public.
- Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and good DAC Report.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to effectively learn and operate a GPS.
- Must be flexible with work schedule (Day/Evening/Night shifts/Weekends).
