Position Overview

Job Title: Driver / Non CDL

Compensation: $17-18 per hour

Company: BoldAge PACE

Role Summary:

Under the guidance of the Transportation Supervisor, the individual will be tasked with ensuring the safe and punctual transport of PACE participants. This encompasses the movement of clients, meals, medical equipment, pharmacy items, and any other necessary transportation duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle on a daily basis.
  • Report any safety concerns to the Transportation Supervisor promptly.
  • Provide transportation services to participants with special mobility needs.
  • Utilize maps and routing information effectively to navigate within the service area.
Essential Qualifications:

Education/Training/Certifications:

  • Valid New Jersey driver's license.
  • Proven safe driving record.
  • Minimum of 1 year of driving experience.

Skills:

  • Ability to handle information confidentially and professionally.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with participants and caregivers.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple tasks in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations within the transportation sector.
  • Experience with transportation scheduling software is preferred.
  • Corrected vision and hearing within normal range, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Experience:

A minimum of 1 year working with elderly or frail individuals is required.
