Job Summary

This is a challenging role that requires a strong background in manufacturing maintenance, supervisory experience, and excellent communication skills. As a Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the pail line and supporting department equipment are operating effectively and properly maintained. You'll work closely with plant supervision to meet production requirements, train and instruct mechanics and machine operators, and recommend preventive maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with plant supervision to ensure production requirements are met
  • Train and instruct mechanics and machine operators as needed
  • Back-up plant mechanics and operators as needed for continued plant production
  • Recommend and schedule preventive maintenance for all plant equipment
  • Define and maintain an inventory of spare parts to reduce equipment downtime
  • Requisition spare parts from Tech Center or outside vendors using the Maintenance Management System
  • Attend scheduled meetings as necessary
  • Provide expertise and advice to all plant personnel
Requirements
  • 15 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required (additional education a plus)
  • Proven experience and knowledge of machine operation, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills, welding and machining
  • Experience working in a metal forming manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity in the handling of manufacturing materials
  • Strong background in process safety management
  • Capable in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
