As a national medical staffing agency, DT-Trak collaborates with various healthcare systems, including federal, state, and commercial hospitals.

Qualifications

We require candidates to have a minimum of 3 years of recent experience in Adult Echocardiogram Sonography. The following credentials are essential:

  • BLS (AHA)
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)

A degree from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program is strongly preferred. Familiarity with Epic software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic cardiac or vascular ultrasound procedures, delivering critical measurements and images of cardiac structures to assist physicians in accurate diagnosis. Immediate feedback through preliminary reports of significant findings to healthcare professionals is vital for timely intervention.

Additionally, the technologist will support physicians during complex procedures, which may include working in operating rooms, hybrid labs, cath labs, and CAD environments, contributing to procedures such as TAVR, SAVR, and others.

Safety Considerations

This role is classified as a safety-sensitive position under applicable legislation, which may impact hiring and employment practices regarding substance use.

Candidates must submit a SFHS submission cover sheet to be considered. A permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility is required.
