Site Engineer

Concrete Frame Associates is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and distribute project design documents to the appropriate team members.
- Participate in basic layout and field engineering activities, including establishing control lines from control points and laying out foundations.
- Layout vertical formwork, such as columns and walls, and establish elevation control points.
- Layout decks and deck edges, and layout required embeds, block-outs, and other items specified in the contract.
- Assist in the performance of a variety of surveying activities and review, approve, and submit rebar shop drawings.
- Coordinate deliveries, inventories, shortages, and fabrication discrepancies for all reinforcing steel assigned to the project.
- Work closely with the project team to monitor the safety, cost, and scheduling of construction projects.
- Assist with the development and coordination of material and equipment schedules and promote their efficient use.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of work experience successfully supporting similar key responsibilities and meeting performance expectations.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced PC skills in a Windows environment, including collecting and analyzing data in Excel and creating documents in Word.
- Ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Concrete Frame Associates offers a competitive benefit package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as a generous 401(k) plan.
