Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled Culinary Associate to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.


Responsibilities:



  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and instructions
  • Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • Taste all prepared food items to ensure quality
  • Use established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain accurate records
  • Clean the kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required
  • Assist in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required
  • Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately
  • Attend in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
  • Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment

Requirements:



  • Experience in a food service environment preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
