Job Title: Software Engineer

About the Role:

As a full stack developer at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will have the opportunity to work on complex software projects and develop complete end-to-end solutions in a fast-paced, Agile environment. We are looking for an experienced developer with the skills needed to design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications using Agile methods.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about mastering new tools and techniques and identifying needed system improvements. You will work with clients to overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You will ensure that the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications using Agile methods
  • Experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
  • Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
  • Experience with writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
  • Experience with using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
  • Experience with creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
  • Experience with Java, Python, C#, C, C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, PHP, or Drupal
  • Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Compensation:

Salary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD).
