We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Real Estate Agent to join our team at American Forest Management. As a Real Estate Agent, you will play a critical role in marketing and selling timberland, recreational hunting, and agricultural land to clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Guide sellers and buyers through the marketing and purchasing process of timberland, recreational hunting, and agricultural land.
- Collaborate with appraisers, escrow companies, lenders, and other external stakeholders to facilitate successful transactions.
- Develop networks with external brokers, attorneys, mortgage lenders, and contractors to expand our reach and opportunities.
- Prepare and review paperwork, including listing agreements, contracts, leases, deeds, and closing statements.
- Consult with clients on market conditions, pricing, lending practices, and land use regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date real estate files in compliance with State regulations and internal company policies.
- Current real estate broker or sales associate license.
- At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in land-focused real estate or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and county land record system searches.
- Knowledge of forestry, agriculture, outdoor recreation, or a related field.
- Competitive compensation structure as an independent contractor.
- Access to the American Forest Management team for advice and support.
- In-house corporate marketing team assistance.
- Land sale-focused websites for advertising.
- MapRight, DocuSign, and internal training programs.
