Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Missile Design Engineer to join our team at Axient. As a key member of our Systems Engineering Group, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing advanced missile systems, including all-source flight analysis and performance modeling. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the development of official Threat Baseline Assessments and 3D CAD models of foreign missile designs.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct all-source research and technical engineering analysis to support the development of missile performance models and aerodynamic tables
* Develop and use cutting-edge tools and techniques to meet the growing demands of missile defense system requirement specifications, design activities, and test/verification
* Analyze all-source intelligence information to synthesize foreign missile designs and characterize flight performance, concept of operations, RF, and IR signatures
* Develop tools for performance analysis and visualization, as well as analysis of electronic warfare
* Collaborate with technical experts and subject matter experts to develop and refine missile design concepts and performance models

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or relevant engineering discipline
* 1-5 years of experience in missile design, flight performance, navigation, guidance, and control, or missile propulsion system design
* Strong understanding of 3D modeling and finite element analysis
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
