Job Summary

The successful candidate will work closely with our team to provide high-quality immigration legal services, including representation before USCIS, to clients seeking relief from violence, trafficking, and other forms of exploitation. We require someone with strong knowledge of U visa, T visa, VAWA, and family-based immigration law, as well as experience in conducting client intakes and supervising volunteer clinics.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients before USCIS and other government agencies
  • Conduct client intakes and assess eligibility for immigration relief
  • Supervise volunteer law student clinics and ensure high-quality casework
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement programs that promote access to justice for marginalized communities
  • Participate in community education and outreach activities to raise awareness about immigration issues and available resources

Requirements

  • A law degree and active bar admission, or a bachelor's degree with relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of U visa, T visa, VAWA, and family-based immigration law
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations and advocating for their rights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual Spanish-English proficiency required

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $68,000-$76,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
