About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Substance Abuse Educator to join our team at OhioGuidestone. As a Substance Abuse Educator, you will play a critical role in educating children and families about substance abuse prevention and intervention strategies.

This is a part-time position, working 10 months from mid-August through June. You will work with elementary and middle schools to provide prevention education instruction and facilitation using evidence-based programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, counseling, or a related field, with experience working with children and families. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective prevention strategies, collaborating with school personnel, and maintaining accurate program data.

A competitive salary of $42,000 - $52,000 per year, depending on experience, is offered for this position. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
