Radiology Technologist Interventional Cardiac Position

The University of California, Irvine is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Interventional Radiology Suite. As an integral member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of procedures under the supervision of a licensed physician.
This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and ensure a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging procedures using various modalities, including fluoroscopy, angiography, and CT scans.
- Operate equipment, such as ultrasound machines and contrast injectors.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including radiographs, angiograms, and other diagnostic images.
- Collaborate with interventional cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to plan and execute complex procedures.
Requirements:
- CURRENT California license, CRT and AART.
- American Heart Association BLS Certification.
- Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist school and current ARRT licensure and CRT.
- At least 2 years working in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology Suite.
- Preferred Skills: Interventional Radiologic Technology Special Procedures experience, experience in interventional cardiovascular medicine computer skills, knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
