Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Senior Living Communities. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering person-centered care based on the needs and interests of residents, while preserving their dignity and quality of life. This includes performing professional and restorative nursing services, such as resident assessments, vital sign recording, medication administration, and timely documentation of written reports and verbal reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on resident care, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility assistance.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Keep accurate and timely records of resident care, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment plans.
  • Interact with residents' physicians, pharmacists, and medical personnel as needed.
  • Participate in and attend all required in-service training and education sessions.
Requirements:
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
  • Two years' experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
  • Ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards.
Work Environment:

The Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing care to residents in a senior living community. The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing. The individual must use proper body mechanics to assist residents in their daily living.

This position regularly requires long hours and frequent night and weekend work. Travel is not expected, although occasional travel may be required for training sessions, continuing education opportunities, emergency situations, and other company functions.
