Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Acute Rehab Department at Penn Medicine Princeton Health in Plainsboro, NJ.
Responsibilities:- Practice within the organizational professional practice model.
- Provide patient care through the application of the nursing process and accept accountability for the nursing care of assigned patients.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of care across the continuum.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives to identify potential and actual problems and opportunities to provide care that is safe, timely, efficient, effective, and equitable.
- Utilize evidence-based practice and research to evaluate and integrate best current evidence with clinical expertise and patient and family preferences and values for the delivery of optimal healthcare and system effectiveness.
- Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives, including the design, review, and evaluation of QI data and initiatives at the unit level.
- Communicate effectively with team members, adapting one's own style of communicating to meet the needs of the team and situation.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Registered Nurse - NJ license.
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License required prior to first day of hire.
- National Nursing Certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing or in pursuit of a BSN.
- Greater than 15 months professional nursing experience.
- Associate of Arts or Science degree in Nursing with greater than 5 years of clinical experience in a clinical specialty may be considered.
