  • Operate café equipment, including espresso machines, blenders, and ovens, to prepare coffee, specialty drinks, and baked goods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to local, state, and federal sanitation guidelines.
  • Stock and merchandise the café, ensuring a visually appealing and well-stocked area.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers and responding to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with cash handling and balancing the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
  • Collaborate with the bookstore team as needed to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn and operate multiple café machines and equipment.
  • Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the café and store.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
