Industrial Trade Services is seeking a skilled Pipe Layer to join our team in Louisville, KY.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Pipe Layer to assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications or plumbing codes.
• Lay 8" C900 water main pipe and work with residential sewer pipe.
• Inspect structures, locate, and mark positions of pipes, connections, and passage holes.
• Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles.
• Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals and non-metals.
• Join pipes by use of screws, bolts, fittings, and solder.
• Test pipes by filling them with water or air and read gauges to determine whether system is working accurately.
• Install and repair plumbing fixtures.
• Repair and maintain plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains.

Requirements:

We are looking for a skilled Pipe Layer with experience in pipe installation, repair, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
