Position Overview
Lead and oversee the quality management functions at the facility, ensuring compliance with all relevant company and U.S. government regulations, policies, and procedures. Responsible for the adherence to quality program policies, plans, standards, and requirements at the facility.
Engage regularly with all plant operations (engineering, manufacturing, sales/marketing), as well as customers and suppliers. Manage the quality department and report directly to the Division Quality Manager.

Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure that quality requirements are clearly defined at all operational levels to facilitate effective quality planning and compliance verification.
2. Coordinate Total Quality Management (TQM) initiatives across various business units.
3. Identify, develop, and implement innovative quality management methodologies and systems, while auditing existing frameworks to align with division goals, ISO9000 standards, and customer expectations.
4. Provide quality-focused leadership to achieve facility quality targets.
5. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver comprehensive responses and technical support regarding quality systems and products.
6. Develop, implement, and sustain quality assurance processes for all procured materials, equipment, components, and processing.
7. Oversee supplier quality audits and corrective action plans, integrating and monitoring supplier quality performance with divisional objectives.
8. Utilize automated systems where applicable to proactively plan, execute, and track quality systems and processes.
9. Maintain the highest standards of customer service, operational efficiency, quality, cost-effectiveness, and workforce productivity.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven ability to fulfill the essential functions of the role.
- Five to seven years of relevant experience in a top-tier manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient facilitation and coaching abilities.
- Knowledge of Total Quality concepts and ISO procedures.
- Familiarity with statistical improvement techniques and corrective action development.
- Managerial experience with a demonstrated capacity to lead and motivate team members.
- Some travel may be necessary.
