Position Overview: The Safety and Compliance Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and directing the activities of the compliance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor subordinate personnel, ensuring clarity in work assignments.
- Coordinate and execute inspections to verify adherence to established policies, procedures, and relevant state and federal regulations.
- Analyze and interpret regulatory and technical issues, utilizing analytical data to ensure compliance with safety laws.
- Stay informed about updates and changes in safety codes and regulations applicable to the organization.
- Conduct training sessions, manage data, and review compliance reports to uphold safety standards.
- Provide expert guidance on fire safety inspections, facility safety protocols, and related compliance activities.
- Identify necessary follow-up actions to address compliance issues effectively.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution OR an Associate's degree with two years of relevant experience OR a High school diploma or GED with four years of related experience. Additionally, one year of experience at the lower level of Safety & Compliance Specialist 3 or an equivalent position may be required. Note: Certain roles may necessitate a valid driver's license and/or specific certifications.
