About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Munication Therapist to join our team in Elkhart, IN.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists to implement treatment plans and interventions designed to address speech, language, and munication goals. This includes conducting assessments and evaluations, providing individual or group therapy sessions, and monitoring and documenting client progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language abilities.
  • Provide individualized therapy sessions to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and exercises to improve speech production, articulation, language prehension, and expressive language skills.
  • Foster social munication skills in students and their families.
  • Teach strategies and techniques for improving munication outside of therapy sessions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Munication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) from a recognized certifying organization.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with munication disorders is an asset.
  • Exceptional verbal and written munication skills.

Salary:

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
