The Town of La Plata is seeking a dedicated individual to fulfill a variety of custodial responsibilities, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of facilities. This role involves the operation of cleaning machinery and performing tasks to uphold a hygienic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Facility Maintenance Specialist, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Regular collection of waste and recycling materials from designated areas.
- Thorough cleaning and sanitization of all restroom facilities.
- Disinfection of frequently touched surfaces, including door handles and office equipment.
- Management of cleaning supply inventory to ensure availability.
- Fostering positive relationships with colleagues and the community by exemplifying excellent customer service principles.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties effectively. Reasonable accommodations will be considered for individuals with disabilities to facilitate their performance of essential functions.
Physical Requirements:
