Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at Pacific Western Painting and Construction. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing and coordinating estimates for our clients. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of project requirements and specifications
  • Select and apply relevant metrics to produce accurate estimates
  • Conduct site visits and gather essential information to inform estimates
  • Analyze data and produce forecasts to ensure project feasibility
  • Perform risk analysis to identify potential project challenges
  • Prepare detailed reports and bids for submission to clients
  • Evaluate offers and quotes to select the most advantageous deals
  • Foster relationships with key vendors and stakeholders
Requirements
  • 4-year construction or engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical and training-related experience
  • 3-8 years of estimating, cost control, and/or engineering experience in similar facility construction
  • Ability to coordinate and lead group efforts
  • Computer literacy and ability to quickly master and apply departmental computer systems and software
  • Technical knowledge of various mechanical and electrical systems, as well as experience in all structural and architectural disciplines and code and regulatory issues
