Key Responsibilities:
The Clinical Nurse Specialist plays a vital role within the healthcare team, collaborating closely with Physicians, Physician Assistants, and other nursing professionals.
Primary duties include conducting patient intake assessments, performing medication reconciliation, and verifying comprehensive patient medical, family, social, and surgical histories. The nurse will assist healthcare providers with in-office procedures, deliver patient and caregiver education, provide telephone triage, and promote preventive health measures to enhance patient outcomes while coordinating care effectively.
The Clinical Medical Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant will also be responsible for obtaining necessary pre-certifications from insurance providers for in-clinic procedures.
