Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team at Columbia Sportswear. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving store sales, and maintaining high store standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all customers.
  • Assist customers with finding merchandise, making recommendations, and resolving any issues.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, using our POS system.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, participating in training and education modules to enhance your skills.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts, order processing, and stock room organization.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized store environment, adhering to safety and security protocols.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and floor resets to enhance the customer experience.
Requirements
  • A passion for the outdoors and a love for climbing, yoga, or running is highly desired.
  • Retail sales or customer service experience in specialty retail, active, or outdoor apparel is a plus.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Availability to work a changing schedule, including evenings and weekends.

  • Occasionally requires ability to remain stationary.
  • Constantly requires ability to move about the store, communicate with others.
  • Frequently adjust/move items weighing up to 40lbs.
