Job Summary

As a CDL A Local Delivery Driver with Sysco, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) and a clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run daily routes with frequent stops and load packages onto hand trucks and unload product at each stop.
  • Operate in a cross-dock model, picking up a loaded truck from a nightly delivery and returning the empty truck to the assigned lot.
  • Assist with loading trucks, palletizing product, and performing other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
Requirements
  • 21+ years of age.
  • Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year customer delivery experience.
  • 6 months hand cart/hand truck experience.
  • 6 months Food and Beverage experience.
  • 2 years consistent work history.
