Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer III to join our team at DAC International Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and optimizing electronic control systems and instruments to automate and monitor industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop technical designs, process diagrams, SCADA block diagrams, and control schematics to implement automation controls.
  • Configure systems using PLC and HMI techniques.
  • Model, test, and measure output and data to analyze performance or quality issues and develop solutions.
  • Direct all aspects of electronics circuit design with minimal supervision.
  • Conceptualize and engineer new, unique electrical systems that meet customer requirements.
  • Schematic design and integration of circuit modules.
  • Actively participate in product design reviews and work directly with engineering staff to develop cost-effective solutions.
  • Perform engineering changes according to standard procedures with extreme attention to detail of the design and how the changes will affect disposition of past, present, and future affected products and documentation.
  • Prepare and present detailed technical reports to management and staff.
  • Responsible for board-level deliverables to product team (documentation, BOM, etc).
  • Review requirements and test plans with product team.
  • Lead resolution of complex design issues and manage design trade-offs.
  • Define design innovations and potential patentable solutions.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines while effectively managing priorities and communicating progress.
  • Communicate technical elements of a project effectively to team colleagues and managers where appropriate.
  • Comply with safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
  • 4-7 years of experience designing complex electrical circuits.
  • Expert with Schematic Capture Tools, PCB Design, Spice simulation.
  • Experienced in design for manufacturing (DFM, DFT, etc.).
  • Experienced in UL and CE compliance requirements including EMC compliance would be advantageous.
  • English communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
