About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at PeaceHealth Longview Radiology Outpatient Imaging Center in Kelso, Washington.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and specialized MRI procedures, integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.
  • Operate MRI scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction, and documentation of images, and perform quality control measures to ensure optimal quality images.
  • Apply the ACR Guidance Document for Safe MR Practices to ensure patient, visitor, and caregiver safety.
  • Perform other patient care activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned consistent with Caregivers' scope of practice, training, experience, and license/certification/registration.
Requirements
  • Registration/licensure as an MRI Technologist, plus experience and/or registration/licensure in at least one additional modality (i.e., X-ray, CT, Ultrasound) preferred.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology program required or equivalent education and/or experience as required for obtaining certification/license/registration as required by State for clinical practice.
  • One of the following is required at date of hire: ARRT(R) Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, ARRT(MR) certification, Registered Ultrasound Sonographer ARDMS, or ARMRIT certification.
  • One of the following is required within 18 months of hire: ARRT (MR) certification, ARMRIT certification, or Washington State Radiologic Technologist licensure.
  • Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at date of hire.
  • Minimum of one year previous experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated venipuncture competency.
  • Demonstrated competency in computer-based programs as they relate to MR applications.
  • PACS/RIS knowledge is required.
