Position Overview:
This is a Per Diem role.
Community Focus:
Join a team dedicated to serving the local community with state-of-the-art emergency healthcare services.
Role Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting imaging for both neuro and body scans across all age groups, adhering to facility-specific guidelines.
- Transmitting images for diagnostic evaluation and maintaining accurate records in the hospital's computer system.
- Engaging in exceptional customer service and fostering respectful relationships while embodying the principles of AdventHealth.
- Taking on additional departmental duties, such as tracking and ordering supplies, performing advanced 3D and CTA studies, and mentoring new staff.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate's or Technical degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of one year of experience in CT imaging.
Licensure and Certification:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Completion of Radiologic Technology training and A.R.R.T.(R) registration.
- State license for General Radiographer as required.
- ARRT - CT certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field.
- Two years of clinical Radiology experience in a hospital setting.
- Familiarity with computer systems and PACS.
- Basic IV skills and knowledge of anatomy and physics.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse populations.
- Understanding of CT procedures and equipment.
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies and enhance customer service skills.

- Maintain efficient workflow, minimizing downtime and ensuring timely patient care.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and competently, adapting protocols as necessary for different age groups.

- Review and ensure quality of images, assisting colleagues in achieving optimal results.
- Utilize computer systems for managing exam orders and documentation accurately.
- Participate in departmental initiatives and meetings with a positive attitude.
