Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering mostly hardwood lumber and sheet stock, doors, and other supplies to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a commercial vehicle to deliver products to our customers.
- Load and unload products from the vehicle, as required.
- Work safely, attend safety meetings, and follow all safety procedures and policies.
- Occasionally lift heavy products to store, remove from storage, or load onto a vehicle.
- History of being a truck driver, delivery driver, and experience with a Class A CDL or Class B CDL.
- Interest in working for a company that values hard work and loyalty.
- Strong physical stamina – this role requires a lot of physical activity.
- Highly organized and self-motivated – you should be a self-starter who doesn't require constant supervision.
- Experienced driver with a Class A driver's license (CDL A) or Class B (CDL B) driver's license and medical card.
- Able to pass a drug test, background, and motor vehicle pre-employment screen.
- Required to pass a driving test.
- Must be able to pass a physical examination as required by the U. S. Department of Transportation.
