Infant Assistant Teacher

As a dedicated professional at Primrose Schools, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teacher to join our team and contribute to the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a group of children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
  • Provide positive reinforcement and guidance to children, promoting their emotional and social growth.
  • Assist in other capacities as determined by the Director or designee.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Meet the basic requirements of local child care regulatory agencies.
  • Previous teaching or assistant teaching experience in a licensed early childhood program is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
