Moneta, a leading comprehensive wealth management firm, is seeking an Alternative Investment Support Specialist to join its Investment Department. This role is ideal for a driven, organized, and intellectually curious individual who is passionate about private equity, private credit, and private real asset investments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing fund manager and market research materials, creating summary analysis, and maintaining the team's internal tracking system. They will also assist with investment implementation programs, work closely with advisors to identify key inputs for model preparation, and review legal documentation to identify investment terms and key risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review fund manager and market research materials, creating summary analysis and organized within the team's internal tracking system.
- Assist with investment implementation programs, working closely with advisors to identify key inputs for model preparation.
- Review legal documentation to identify investment terms, key risks, and become acclimated with private fund memoranda/legalese.
- Document key parts of manager materials for ultimate collateral production and ongoing manager updates.
- Maintain team intranet page ensuring all end points are current.
- Coordinate aggregate trade information from client facing teams for quarterly fund tender offers.
- Draft periodic summary updates on recommended products for firm wide use.
- Meet regularly with existing and new fund manager relationships and begin to develop industry network.
Requirements:
- B.S. Economics, Accounting, or related field preferred but not required.
- 1-2 years of professional experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience and interest working in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
- Open to periodic travel to visit fund managers, attend industry conferences.
- Professional attitude, demeanor, and appearance.
