Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including orienting and assessing them, and reviewing their medical records to ensure safety checklists are complete.
  • Respond to life-threatening situations using nursing standards and protocols for treatment, handling critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.
  • Provide nursing care in a technically complex environment, evaluating learning needs of patients and/or families and providing patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and relevant licensure/certification as determined at position level.
  • 6 months of RN experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
  • ACLS within 6 months of hire.
