Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Maine



MaineHealth is seeking a part-time (32 hours/week) experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Primary Care team in Sanford, Maine.



This is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in providing highly valued psychiatry services within a medical team, as well as the larger Behavioral Health Integration program.



The Maine Behavioral Health Integrated program is one of the largest in the nation, with approximately 40 clinicians providing care at over 50 primary care locations and almost 10 specialty offices throughout Maine.



Responsibilities:




  • Integrated care for clients on a primary care team
  • Psychiatric evaluations
  • Medication management
  • Consultation to the primary care team


Requirements:




  • Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a PMHNP
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a PMHNP in an integrated setting
  • Experience in a primary care or outpatient medical practice setting preferred
  • Ability to attain (or be currently licensed as) an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License in the State of Maine
