Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble harnesses and boxes according to specifications.
  • Perform cable cutting as necessary.
  • Utilize crimping and wire stripping tools effectively.
  • Conduct wire jacket stripping and inner jacket stripping of wire harnesses.
  • Complete intricate cable and harness systems in accordance with work instructions and schematics.
  • Utilize a wire layout board to route wires and components for harness assembly.
  • Securely wrap and tie wires at designated points to form a complete harness.
  • Assemble electrical components, systems, and subsystems.
  • Operate semi-automatic machines and hand tools proficiently.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of first articles, in-process assemblies, and finished products using measuring tools.
  • Solder connections between parts as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to accurately use measuring tools and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Proficiency in using all tools necessary for wire harness assembly.
  • Capability to lift up to 35 pounds.
