We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Nurse to join our team of medical professionals at Global Medical Response. As a Flight Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and transportation services to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient situations to determine the best course of action for safe and effective patient care.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured patients and support physicians' orders.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, maintaining regular equipment checks and adhering to safety standards and briefings.
  • Collaborate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records, adhering to protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Three years' experience in emergency or critical care setting.
  • Flight experience preferred.
  • Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
  • EMT Certification in state(s).
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (Trauma certification required within 6 months of hire).
  • Advanced certification (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) preferred (required within 12 months of hire).
  • Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
