We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse for a travel assignment in Palmer, Alaska. This 13-week contract position offers the ideal candidate a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Job Summary- Work as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room of a reputable healthcare facility in Palmer, Alaska.
- Collaborate with an experienced team of medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
- Participate in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement effective interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications, perform surgical procedures, and manage patients' pain and discomfort during recovery.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patients' progress, including vital signs, laboratory results, and medication administration.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and continuity.
- A current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- At least two years of recent experience as an Operating Room Nurse.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
