Drug Testing Observer

Koniag Government Services is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to serve as an Observer - Drug Testing in support of the Air National Guard Service Component. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the Drug Demand Reduction Program.
Key Responsibilities- Directly observe selected individuals providing urine samples for drug testing
- Understand the legal requirements of the position, including the possibility of testifying in a court of law
- Follow the directions of the Wing Drug Demand Reduction Program Manager and the Drug Testing Program Administrative Manager
- Document direct observations during each individual specimen collection on appropriate forms
- Provide feedback on the Wing Drug Demand Reduction Program to the Drug Testing Program Administrative Manager
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior military experience preferred
- Ability to work as a civilian contractor on a military installation during all required drill events
- Must be available to work on-call for emergencies
This position operates in a professional office environment with a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
