Job Summary

Pinehurst Surgical Clinic PA is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound imaging procedures on patients to provide accurate clinical history for interpreting Radiologists.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ultrasound Imaging Procedures: Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging procedures on patients to provide accurate clinical history for interpreting Radiologists.
  2. Patient History Data: Gather patient history data and complete worksheets with exam findings for Radiologists.
  3. Exam Room Maintenance: Perform general upkeep and housekeeping of exam rooms to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
  4. Imaging Center Workflow: Assist with imaging center workflow by helping with general duties as deemed necessary, such as burning discs with images.
Requirements

Education and Certifications:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  2. Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  3. CPR certification.
  4. Active ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification.
  5. Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 1-2 years Ultrasound/Sonography experience.

  3. Maintains confidentiality.

Knowledge and Skills:

  4. Ability to relate sensitively to patients' needs.
  5. Well-organized.
