Position Overview: Fadona is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist dedicated to providing exceptional care for our Veterans. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to engage in educational activities and contribute to the training of fellows and medical residents.

Key Responsibilities: The Gastroenterology physician will deliver comprehensive medical services to outpatients, inpatients, and nursing home residents. Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary diseases.
  • Providing consultative care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Performing advanced GI procedures such as EGD, colonoscopies, and more.
  • Overseeing conscious sedation administration during procedures.

Research and Education: The physician will actively participate in research initiatives and educational programs, contributing to the training of residents, fellows, and medical students. Participation in lectures and ground rounds is expected.

Work Schedule: Standard hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications: Candidates must possess a full and unrestricted medical license from any US state or territory. Board Certification in Gastroenterology is preferred, though Board Eligibility may be considered.

Compensation: The expected salary range is $300,000 to $400,000, with potential for an annual performance bonus of up to $15,000. Eligible candidates may apply for the Education Debt Reduction Program, potentially receiving up to $200,000 in tax-free school loan repayment.
