Piedmont RN - Medical Flex Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Flex team at Piedmont. As a Medical Flex RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our intensive care unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide holistic, patient-centered care to patients in our intensive care unit
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage patients' conditions, including invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring
  • Participate in quality initiatives, such as pain assessment and reassessment, pressure ulcer prevention, and infection prevention strategies
  • Work closely with unit-based educators to address competency, onboarding, and learning needs
  • Assist with daily operations, including charge nurse duties when staffing is limited

Requirements:
  • Graduate of a nursing program
  • New graduates of a nursing program eligible
  • One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
