Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Float Pool. As a Float Pool RN, you will provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
  • Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
  • Communicate with physicians about changes in patient clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current, preferred.
  • Previous Acute Care hospital experience, preferred.
  • Ventilator Management experience, preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), preferred.
