Job Summary

SSM Health is seeking a skilled Imaging Assistant to join our team at St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis. As an Imaging Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our imaging department, ensuring the highest quality patient care and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport, prepare, and position patients for accurate imaging procedures
  • Perform patient pre-screening, IV start, point-of-care, scheduling, and education related to the examination
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images, and ensure submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner, performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One year of direct experience in a healthcare setting
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification
