Registered Nurse

EvergreenHealth Monroe is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Telemetry team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to pediatric through geriatric patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide nursing care as directed by medical staff and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in patient teaching and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition of care.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement a comprehensive patient plan of care.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, including assessment data, interventions, and patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Identify and respond to individual patient, staff, and departmental/hospital safety needs, implementing all patient safety goals and standards.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire date.
- NIHSS Stroke Certification within 90 days of hire date.
- Ability to think critically and use the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members in a courteous and respectful manner.
Adheres to all State and Federal regulations pertaining to hazardous materials, with hazards including risk of exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous substances, and risk of physical injury from lifting patients and operation of equipment.
