We are seeking a skilled Physician to join our team at Wellpath. As a Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform physical exams and order diagnostic tests to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure seamless care and coordination.
- Make referrals for tests and consultations, and provide education on medical diagnoses to patients and their families.
- Adhere to company Code of Conduct Standards and understand and comply with special precautions, disaster and fire safety procedures, and abuse reporting.
- Medical doctorate (MD) from an accredited university.
- Two (2) years post-residency clinical experience in an inpatient setting, psychiatric experience preferred.
- Licensed in the state of employment.
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and applicable certifications.
- Board certified or eligible in internal or family medicine.
